Gavin has visited Colditz more often and more regularly than any other militray historian and has acted as advisor and guide for the MoD, has lectured to serving military personnel and has escorted members of the RAF over to Colditz. He has also had the pleasure of meeting former Colditz veterans as well as taking members of their families over to Colditz. Gavin has worked with computer gaming programmers, advised TV and Film companies and has written articles for military history magazines and websites. Gavin has also given talks to youth organisations, such as the Boy Scouts, and is able to tailor his talks depending on the nature of the audience. The author is also available to give short talks or more in depth discussions and lectures on various aspects of Colditz as well an overview of Colditz as a whole.
